Summer School
In a secure and stimulating environment, in a town known for it´s beauty during the summer months, Grennaskolan offers Swedish youth living abroad courses in language as well as a Confirmation Course. These courses emphasize language skills as well as Swedish/European history, civics and natural environment. Summer School courses also function as preparatory for attending school in Sweden.
Courses are run by teachers with experience in working with Swedish students who live or have lived abroad. The course schedule, with lessons before lunch and excursions and activities after lunch and on the weekends, helps students develop friendships quickly. The Confirmation Course runs parallel with the language courses with most activities being done together. The Confirmation Ceremony is held in Gränna Church.
