IKU (Introductory Course for Swedish youth)

A programme unique to Grennaskolan is IKU, which is designed to prepare students who have lived abroad for entry into Swedish high school or college. IKU provides a sound foundation, knowledge and training in the Swedish language and culture, making transition into the Swedish school system easier. IKU is also for those students who have graduated from school in another country, but want to become proficient in Swedish and/or continue their studies in Sweden. To enter the IKU programme, you should be able to speak and write some Swedish

Individual Schedules

In IKU, each student receives their own schedule, designed to meet their individual educational needs. The goal of IKU is to give each student, regardless of their beginning proficiency level the skills necessary to successfully attend school in Sweden.
